A full-service financial and advisory organization is seeking an Accounting Manager
to join their team.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Partners, this position will manage multiple client engagements, oversee accounting and tax operations, and support the professional development of the team while contributing to organizational initiatives and business growth.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage compilation engagements across a diverse client portfolio, with a focus on high-growth industries such as technology and crypto.
- Oversee and prepare corporate, personal, trust, and HST tax filings, coordinating with the CRA on audit matters.
- Supervise, review, and provide coaching to staff throughout engagements, offering technical guidance and support.
- Ensure engagement deliverables comply with CAS, ASPE, and internal quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving technical issues and providing practical, solutions-oriented advice.
- Review and finalize working papers, financial statements, and engagement files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
- Deliver real-time feedback and support professional development through formal and informal coaching.
- Participate in internal training programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and partner-led mentorship opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client service and support business development through proactive relationship management.
- Holds a Canadian CPA designation (required).
- 5-7+ years of experience in a Canadian public accounting environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of ASPE and CAS, with familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Canadian corporate tax filings.
- Proficient in CaseWare and advanced Excel.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
