About the Role
Reporting to senior finance leaders, you will oversee project accounting, forecasting, and reporting. The position is highly cross-functional, providing the chance to work closely with colleagues in both finance and operations to ensure accurate information and strong decision support.
What You'll Do
- Manage and reconcile project budgets, expenses, and cost tracking
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, reforecasts, and financial variance analyses
- Provide inputs to planning and project modeling activities
- Complete journal entries, reconciliations, and recurring month-end deliverables
- Support audit preparation and assist with compliance requirements
- Participate in ad-hoc projects, financial analysis, and process improvements
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward designation is an asset
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to project-based or asset-focused work
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and explain findings
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems
- Effective communicator with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
