A global organization is seeking a Manager to join its Payroll Managed Services team. This is a key leadership role for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments and bring deep experience managing end-to-end payroll processes across multiple platforms. About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Manager will oversee payroll review and quality assurance processes across multiple systems. This role requires strong hands-on experience in cloud-based payroll platforms and a deep understanding of payroll compliance and client service delivery in a managed services setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and review payroll processing activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee outputs from a variety of platforms, ensuring they align with client expectations and local legislation
  • Act as an escalation point for client inquiries, offering expert guidance and issue resolution
  • Ensure internal controls are followed and that all payroll data is secure and accurate
  • Support occasional hands-on processing during high-volume periods or staff absences
  • Collaborate with advisory and implementation teams on system optimization, audits, and onboarding new clients
  • Stay current with payroll legislation and ensure compliance across jurisdictions
What You Bring
  • Payroll compliance designation (e.g., PCP or equivalent)
  • 5–10 years of experience in payroll review or processing, ideally within a managed services or outsourcing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one leading cloud-based payroll platform such as Dayforce, Oracle, Workday, SAP, ADP and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation; international exposure is an asset
  • Analytical mindset and comfort troubleshooting technical payroll issues
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a plus
