What You'll Do
- Manage the preparation and submission of personal, corporate, and trust tax filings, ensuring deadlines and regulatory requirements are met
- Examine and interpret financial records to produce clear, compliant statements
- Partner with leadership to provide insights and recommendations that support client objectives and long-term planning
- Foster strong client relationships by understanding priorities, addressing questions, and offering proactive guidance
- Participate in projects related to governance, succession planning, or other strategic advisory initiatives
- Apply a structured and patient approach when handling complex or high-touch client matters
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent credential is advantageous
- 1-2+ years of experience in public accounting, ideally from a mid-size or smaller firm
- Solid understanding of tax rules for individuals, corporations, and trusts
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end accounting tasks and reporting responsibilities
- Strong communication, discretion, and interpersonal skills to navigate client interactions
- Interest or experience in advisory work, such as succession planning or multi-generational financial guidance
