A globally recognized Big 4 firm specializing in audit and consulting is hiring a Senior AI Governance Consultant
to join their Risk and Compliance team. This role provides hands-on exposure to pioneering AI governance and risk audit initiatives. It’s a great fit for professionals with deep experience in AI risk, controls testing, and regulatory compliance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Leadership, you’ll lead AI governance audits, conduct detailed controls testing, and ensure AI systems align with regulatory and internal governance standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead audits focused on AI governance frameworks and risk controls
- Perform testing of controls to assess the strength of AI risk management
- Evaluate AI systems for regulatory and governance policy compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve governance gaps
- Deliver clear reports and improvement recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Stay up to date on emerging AI regulations and best practices
- Handle high-priority deliverables in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- A bachelor’s degree in risk, IT, business, or a related field
- 4–9 years of experience in AI governance audits, controls testing, or risk consulting
- Strong knowledge of AI governance frameworks, audit techniques, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working in hybrid or fully remote setups
- Background in regulatory, risk, or tech environments is a plus
