What You’ll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end underwriting process, from due-diligence review to legal coordination and funding.
- Assess complex commercial loan applications and identify key risks and opportunities.
- Manage multiple active files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare documentation such as commitment letters and deal summaries.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to support efficient deal flow.
- Contribute to process improvements and leverage technology to streamline underwriting operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of commercial underwriting experience, ideally within lending, banking, or real estate finance.
- Proven ability to balance competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfort working in cyclical business environments with varying deal volumes.
