Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Consultant to join its Payroll Managed Services team. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required, as you’ll be supporting a diverse client portfolio across Canada. This role begins as a 6-month contract with a strong pathway to permanent employment, making it ideal for professionals looking for stability and long-term growth. It’s a great opportunity to get started quickly, demonstrate your expertise, and transition into a lasting career with the organization.

About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll play a key role in managing payroll delivery for multiple clients, with a strong emphasis on Dayforce expertise while remaining flexible to work across other platforms (Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, QuickBooks). You’ll ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service delivery, while also contributing to special projects such as system implementations and process improvements. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys solving problems, and can bring both technical payroll knowledge and strong communication skills to the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of payroll cycles for multiple clients, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of Dayforce to streamline payroll operations and resolve system-related challenges.
  • Navigate and support additional payroll platforms (Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, QuickBooks) as needed.
  • Safeguard compliance by aligning all payroll activities with tax regulations, labor laws, and client-specific policies.
  • Partner with advisory colleagues on projects such as client onboarding, system upgrades, and payroll audits.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for client questions, offering timely solutions and expert guidance.
  • Deliver clear, accurate payroll reports tailored to client stakeholders.
  • Uphold strong internal controls to protect data integrity and maintain audit readiness.

What You Bring
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation required.
  • 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a managed services or outsourced environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Dayforce, including troubleshooting and tailoring the platform to client needs.
  • Flexibility to learn and work with other payroll systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian payroll compliance; international payroll exposure is a plus.
  • Solid skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) to support analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with both clients and team members.
  • Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.

Why Join
This is a fantastic chance to join a high-performing team and gain immediate exposure to diverse client projects. Starting on a 6-month contract with a clear pathway to permanency, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise, build strong client relationships, and grow your career within a collaborative, service-driven environment that values continuous improvement and professional development.
