About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll play a key role in managing payroll delivery for multiple clients, with a strong emphasis on Dayforce expertise while remaining flexible to work across other platforms (Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, QuickBooks). You’ll ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service delivery, while also contributing to special projects such as system implementations and process improvements. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys solving problems, and can bring both technical payroll knowledge and strong communication skills to the team.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of payroll cycles for multiple clients, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Apply advanced knowledge of Dayforce to streamline payroll operations and resolve system-related challenges.
- Navigate and support additional payroll platforms (Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, QuickBooks) as needed.
- Safeguard compliance by aligning all payroll activities with tax regulations, labor laws, and client-specific policies.
- Partner with advisory colleagues on projects such as client onboarding, system upgrades, and payroll audits.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for client questions, offering timely solutions and expert guidance.
- Deliver clear, accurate payroll reports tailored to client stakeholders.
- Uphold strong internal controls to protect data integrity and maintain audit readiness.
What You Bring
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation required.
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a managed services or outsourced environment.
- Demonstrated expertise with Dayforce, including troubleshooting and tailoring the platform to client needs.
- Flexibility to learn and work with other payroll systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, and QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of Canadian payroll compliance; international payroll exposure is a plus.
- Solid skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) to support analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with both clients and team members.
- Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
