Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Payroll Managed Services team on a 3-month full-time contract, with the strong possibility of extension. The role requires bilingual proficiency in English and French, and offers the chance to support payroll operations across both Canada and the US. This is an excellent opportunity to get started quickly, demonstrate your expertise, and potentially extend your engagement with a world-class organization.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll processing while supporting a broad portfolio of clients. The client uses UKG as their primary payroll platform, so hands-on expertise in UKG is essential. You will be expected to work closely with client teams, ensuring smooth payroll operations, compliance, and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Process and review payroll for Canadian and US employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both jurisdictions.
  • Utilize your UKG expertise to support payroll operations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.
  • Act as a point of escalation for payroll-related inquiries, providing clear, timely, and professional responses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on onboarding, audits, and payroll system improvements.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions follow established controls and meet both client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for client stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on Canadian and US payroll legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.

What You Bring
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation (required).
  • 3–5 years of payroll experience within a managed services or outsourced environment.
  • Hands-on UKG payroll expertise (required).
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll; US payroll experience is an asset.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, work under deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong client service and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.

Why Join
This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role where your payroll expertise will be immediately valued. The contract begins as a 3-month full-time engagement (40 hours per week) with a potential extension. You’ll gain exposure to both Canadian and US payroll operations, work with a leading payroll platform (UKG), and collaborate with a professional services team that values excellence, adaptability, and client service.
