A prominent healthcare organization in the GTA is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support budgeting, capital planning, and reporting efforts across multiple departments. This is a high-impact role for finance professionals with strong technical skills, healthcare experience, and a drive for continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate with both finance and operational leaders to provide insights that support decision-making and organizational accountability.

About the Role
Reporting to leaders in both Financial Planning & Reporting and Capital & Treasury, the Senior Financial Analyst will support the preparation of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and project reporting. The role is central to financial planning activities and will contribute to broader strategic initiatives across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports for internal stakeholders
  • Track operating and capital project budgets, including analysis of variances and forecasting
  • Partner with departments to provide financial insights and support operational decisions
  • Maintain capital planning records and funding submissions
  • Monitor external revenue sources and prepare monthly journal entries
  • Lead or support year-end close processes and external audits
  • Assist with annual financial statement preparation and note disclosures
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and financial models for strategic planning
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and reporting guidelines
  • Contribute to process improvement and system optimization initiatives
What You Bring
  • CPA designation and a degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of financial planning and analysis experience, ideally within healthcare
  • At least 2 years of audit or internal controls experience
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Cognos) is preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare reporting standards and funding models is an asset
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and manage shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
