A national real estate services firm is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in property management to join their growing finance team. About the Role
Reporting to a finance leader, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting multiple commercial real estate portfolios through full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. You’ll work cross-functionally with operations teams and provide financial insights to support business decisions and drive performance.
What You’ll Do
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial reporting and forecasting for real estate portfolios
- Conduct profitability and variance analysis across projects and contracts
- Support revenue recognition, job costing, and pricing processes
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to drive financial performance and accountability
- Prepare reconciliations, summaries, and ad hoc reports as needed
- Assist with audit preparations and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization
- CPA designation required
- 3–6 years of progressive experience in property accounting, ideally in commercial real estate or a REIT
- Experience with full-cycle accounting, revenue recognition, and project-based reporting
- Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and financial systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across finance and operations teams
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills
