About the Role
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the broader finance team, this role provides critical support in financial reporting, revenue and margin analysis, and data-driven decision-making. You'll collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare daily and weekly reporting on customer volumes, revenues, and margins, including variance analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs and business performance
- Analyze monthly segmented financial statements and present findings to leadership
- Build and enhance financial models for forecasting and scenario planning
- Identify opportunities to automate reports and streamline forecasting processes
- Support pricing and quoting processes through contribution margin analysis
- Maintain rate tables within internal systems and ensure data accuracy
- Contribute to the budgeting and financial planning process
- Assist with ERP data migration and ensure integrity of financial data
- Review account reconciliations and support various ad hoc financial projects
- Recommend cost-saving measures and process improvements based on findings
- CPA or CFA designation (or working toward one)
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, goal seek, etc.)
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI or similar is an asset
- Strong understanding of cost behavior and financial reporting principles
- Ability to turn raw data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving team structure
