A logistics organization within the transportation and operations services sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its growing finance team. This role offers strong exposure to business operations, advanced analytics, and senior leadership, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments.

About the Role:

Reporting into a FP&A Team Lead, this position plays a key role in financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with operational and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making, efficiency initiatives, and ongoing business growth.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities
  • Build and maintain financial, costing, and scenario-based models to assess profitability and performance
  • Develop and enhance management dashboards and reporting tools for operational and executive audiences
  • Analyze key performance indicators and translate data into actionable insights
  • Partner with internal teams to identify cost efficiencies and process improvements
  • Support month-end and periodic review processes through timely and accurate analysis
  • Contribute to the enhancement of financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls
What You Bring:
  • University degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business discipline
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A roles
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or progress toward one
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and data visualization or reporting tools
  • Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience in operations-driven or asset-intensive industries is considered an asset
