About the Role
You will report to a senior finance leader and be responsible for managing all project-related accounting functions. Your work will ensure precise cost tracking, accurate revenue recognition, and compliance with corporate policies, while fostering strong partnerships with project managers and finance colleagues.
  
What You’ll Do

  • Oversee project accounting processes including budgeting, cost monitoring, and revenue recognition
  • Generate comprehensive project financial reports with accuracy and timely delivery
  • Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to support project and business decisions
  • Work closely with project teams to reconcile financials and address any discrepancies
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to projects, including ledger reconciliations
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests relating to project finances
  • Drive improvements in project accounting processes and support automation initiatives
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff on project accounting matters
What You Bring
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent designation preferred
  • Several years of experience in project accounting or similar roles, ideally in financial or professional services
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and cost accounting techniques
  • Strong track record managing complex project budgets and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with accounting and ERP systems (general knowledge, no specific tools mentioned)
  • Sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable liaising with diverse stakeholders
  • Leadership experience or ability to mentor junior team members is an advantage
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
