About the Role
Reporting to a senior finance leader, this position plays a key role in overseeing tax filings and managing full-cycle accounting across a variety of structures. You’ll be working with complex investments and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, compliant, and timely.
  
What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and file various tax returns, including individual, corporate, trust, and investment-related forms
  • Manage full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities and structures
  • Ensure compliance with tax legislation and accounting standards
  • Monitor and interpret the financial performance of investment portfolios
  • Work closely with auditors, advisors, and operational teams on reporting and filings
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies
  • Support the design of tax strategies that align with organizational objectives
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy
What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation or in the process of completing it (CFE completed is a plus)
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in tax and accounting, ideally from a public practice or corporate finance team
  • Familiarity with Canadian tax compliance, including personal and corporate returns
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and investment structures
  • Proficient in accounting/tax software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and analytical thinking, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
