About the Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position will support both corporate and property accounting functions across a portfolio of real estate assets. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and mentorship while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting responsibilities in a team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes
- Process invoices, payments, and tenant-related accounting transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis as required
- Work closely with senior accounting staff to learn property and corporate accounting processes
- Support internal controls and ensure accounting procedures are followed consistently
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
What You Bring
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Recent graduates and early-career accounting professionals are encouraged to apply
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting is an asset
- Exposure to property management, real estate, or property accounting is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
