About the Role Reporting directly to senior financial leadership, the Accountant will support core accounting operations including revenue tracking, expense management, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting compliance, reporting, and operational finance initiatives. What You’ll Do
- Record and reconcile revenue from multiple business channels
- Manage expense tracking and payment processing
- Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
- Support the preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis
- Assist with payroll administration and day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Support corporate tax preparation and maintain related working papers
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax, employment, and contractual requirements
- Assist with operational tasks such as insurance renewals and financial documentation reviews
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience with accounting systems and financial recordkeeping platforms
- Background in bank and credit card reconciliations and financial transaction management
- Understanding of indirect tax requirements within Canada
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling financial transactions
