A growing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead and strengthen its accounting function. This is a high-impact role offering leadership responsibility, cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to drive process improvements across a growing team.

About the Role Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring financial processes align with organizational goals. You will lead a sizeable team, support planning initiatives, and partner closely with stakeholders across the business.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and oversee the accounting team across multiple regions
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development
  • Participate in hiring and workforce planning decisions
  • Delegate and prioritize work across team members while monitoring workload distribution
  • Lead team meetings and provide ongoing coaching and guidance
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of financial statements
  • Manage the preparation, completion, and analysis of budgets and forecasts
  • Collect, analyze, and report on financial and operational data to assess overall performance
  • Communicate and collaborate with business leaders on financial results, cost management, and ongoing initiatives
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across the department
  • Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, policies, and key business decisions
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance
  • Liaise with external partners on financial reporting and tax-related matters
  • Act as a finance subject matter expert on internal projects and initiatives
  • Support broader accounting functions as needed

What You Bring
  • University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • CPA designation required
  • 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
  • Advanced proficiency with common business and data tools
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Bilingualism in Spanish and English is considered an asset
