About the Role

Reporting to the Controller, you will oversee day-to-day accounting activities while supporting accurate financial reporting and process improvements. This position combines technical accounting responsibilities with team leadership, making it ideal for someone looking to expand their supervisory experience while maintaining a hands-on role.

  • Collaborate with finance colleagues and cross-functional teams to support business objectives
  • Contribute to special projects and additional accounting initiatives as required

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems; exposure to cloud-based ERP platforms is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accrual accounting, reconciliations, and indirect tax compliance
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative environments
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Why Join

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative organization that values teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, work alongside experienced finance professionals, and have opportunities to grow your leadership skills while making a meaningful contribution to the business. Plus, you'll get the satisfaction of keeping the finance team running smoothly.
