About the Role
Reporting to the finance team, this position is responsible for managing accounts payable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end close and reporting activities. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys working across both transactional and administrative finance functions.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the end-to-end invoice intake process, including review, coding, and entry into the accounting system
- Validate employee reimbursement submissions and ensure documentation aligns with internal policies
- Prepare vendor payments through various payment methods on a scheduled basis
- Support banking activities, including deposits and outgoing payments
- Assist with monthly accruals and other period-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
- Support internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation and financial records
- Contribute to ad hoc reporting, process improvements, and special finance projects as needed
What You Bring
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting is an asset
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
