What You’ll Do
- Support the preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting.
- Oversee and review general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and other accounting processes.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
- Apply strong technical accounting knowledge to complex accounting and reporting matters.
- Support the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist with audit preparation and work with external auditors as required.
- Analyze financial information and provide insight to support management decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, controls, and overall efficiency.
- Partner with colleagues across finance and the broader organization to resolve accounting issues and support business priorities.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the role develops, with the opportunity to expand into broader financial leadership.
What You Bring
- Strong accounting background with progressive experience and increasing responsibility.
- Public accounting or professional accounting firm experience is highly valued.
- Experience at the Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar level.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Exposure to audits and working with external auditors.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive, ambitious mindset and genuine interest in developing toward broader financial leadership.
