Reporting to a senior accounting leader, this position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. The Bookkeeper will work closely with internal teams and contribute to both routine accounting tasks and process improvements.
- Manage core accounting activities within the general ledger, with a focus on accounts payable
- Prepare and review bank, balance sheet, and income statement reconciliations
- Oversee inventory-related accounting, including reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
- Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data
- Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Several years of experience in a hands-on bookkeeping or accounting role
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and routine accounting functions
- Experience working with an ERP or mid-market accounting system is an asset
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Preference for working in a structured, on-site office environment
