Working onsite three days per week with a consistent schedule, you'll oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, support payroll processing, and ensure financial information is accurate and up to date.
What You'll Do
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
- Complete bank and account reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and trial balance.
- Process payroll for a small employee group using QuickBooks.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation.
- Assist with cheque processing and payment administration.
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end bookkeeping activities and other accounting tasks as required.
- Assist with general administrative and finance-related responsibilities.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
- Hands-on experience using QuickBooks, including payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and trial balance preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
