About the Role
Reporting to senior operational leadership, this position is responsible for overseeing financial recordkeeping, supporting reporting processes, and maintaining efficient administrative operations across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, deposits, and expense reimbursements
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and support budgeting/tracking activities
- Assist with year-end audits and coordinate with external accounting partners
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements
- Support leadership with meeting coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks
- Maintain organized filing systems and stakeholder/member records
- Assist with scheduling, communications, and ongoing operational projects
What You Bring
- Diploma or post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Experience using accounting software and financial reporting tools
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in a non-profit organization is an asset
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
