A fast-growing software investment group is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, capital structure, and operational excellence across its portfolio of companies. This senior leadership role is ideal for an executive who combines deep M&A and capital markets expertise with hands-on finance leadership in SaaS or recurring-revenue environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and execute financial strategies that support both organic growth and acquisition opportunities
- Lead capital allocation decisions, balancing reinvestment, acquisitions, and shareholder returns
- Evaluate and structure financing solutions, including debt, equity, and alternative funding sources
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning across multiple business units
- Deliver financial modeling, scenario analysis, and insights that guide strategic decision-making
- Establish scalable processes and systems to streamline reporting, forecasting, and close cycles
- Champion cost control, margin optimization, and working capital efficiency across the portfolio
- Lead financial due diligence, valuations, and deal structuring for acquisitions
- Oversee post-acquisition integration, ensuring harmonized reporting and realization of synergies
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely financial and management reporting for executives, boards, and investors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, tax requirements, and strong internal controls
- Act as a trusted advisor to portfolio company leadership, supporting performance improvement and turnaround efforts
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, instilling accountability, agility, and continuous improvement
- Proven senior finance leadership experience, ideally as CFO or senior executive in a growth-oriented company
- Strong background in M&A execution, due diligence, and post-deal integration
- Deep knowledge of SaaS and recurring-revenue business models
- Expertise in capital markets, financing structures, and investor relations
- Track record of implementing scalable financial systems and processes across multiple entities
- Ability to manage decentralized structures and oversee multiple P&Ls simultaneously
