What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of all day-to-day financial operations and transition the business to a more structured internal finance function
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
- Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow models to support business planning
- Provide leadership with financial analysis and strategic insights to support operational and investment decisions
- Establish internal controls, financial processes, and reporting standards appropriate for a growing business
- Partner with operational leaders to evaluate profitability, margins, and overall business performance
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and liquidity to ensure the business is well-positioned for growth
- Improve invoicing, collections, and payment processes to enhance financial efficiency
- Build dashboards and reporting tools to provide timely visibility into key business metrics
- Support implementation of systems, processes, and tools as the finance function evolves
- Assist in building and mentoring a finance team over time as the organization grows
What You Bring
- CPA designation required
- Progressive experience in accounting/finance, including leadership responsibility within a growing organization
- Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and business partnering capabilities
- Experience building or improving finance processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
