 A respected organization with a broad business portfolio is seeking a Corporate Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys combining detailed financial analysis with broader business insight and wants exposure to senior leadership and a range of corporate finance activities.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Corporate Financial Analyst will support financial reporting, analysis, tax compliance, cash flow planning, and other corporate finance activities. The position works with stakeholders across the organization and offers the opportunity to contribute to both recurring reporting requirements and special projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and review periodic financial statements, supporting schedules, and working papers for multiple business entities
  • Assist with management reporting packages and materials for senior leadership
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to banking, inventory, costs, financing, and business performance
  • Support cash flow forecasting and analyze projected results against actual performance
  • Assist with financing activities, including reviewing financial documentation and supporting loan-related processes
  • Analyze financial results and explain significant variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
  • Prepare and support various corporate and indirect tax filings
  • Develop financial reports and analysis in response to management requests
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and internal procedures
  • Process complex accounting transactions, journal entries, invoicing, and financial allocations
  • Support payment and fund-transfer activities when required
  • Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to junior members of the accounting team
  • Contribute to special projects and other corporate finance initiatives as needed

What You Bring

  • Professional accounting designation
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience
  • Strong financial reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including experience working with large datasets and developing meaningful analysis
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present financial findings and key issues to management
  • High level of accuracy, professional judgment, and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance detailed financial work with broader business objectives
  • Collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented approach
  • Experience in a project-based or asset-intensive industry is considered an asset
