What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the finance and accounting team, providing mentorship and oversight
- Oversee the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate divisional reporting
- Drive the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasts in partnership with operational leaders
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements across multiple business units
- Analyze revenue, cost structures, and key performance indicators to support business performance
- Provide financial modelling, ad hoc analysis, and support for strategic initiatives
- Strengthen internal controls by reviewing reconciliations, payables, receivables, and general ledger activity
- Oversee ERP and financial reporting systems to ensure integrity of financial data
- Review indirect tax filings and support audit and corporate compliance requirements
- Manage government-related reporting and funding submissions as required
What You Bring
- CPA designation required
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing finance teams
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical modelling
- Experience operating in multi-entity or multi-division environments
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial planning tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on leadership style with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
