About the Role
A leading global investment organization with a diversified portfolio of long-term real assets is seeking a Finance & Fund Operations Professional to join its private funds team. This role sits within a core finance and operations group that supports investment vehicles spanning multiple regions and asset types. The position offers exposure to complex fund structures, senior stakeholders, and a fast-paced, intellectually engaging environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Review and oversee periodic financial reporting delivered to investors and internal stakeholders, including financial statements prepared under established accounting standards and performance metrics
  • Assess net asset value reporting and supporting schedules prepared by third-party administrators to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Manage capital activity, liquidity monitoring, and forecasting, including responding to investor-related inquiries and compliance matters
  • Prepare and present summaries of significant transactions and financial developments to senior leadership
  • Coordinate with external service providers such as administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to support timely and accurate investor reporting
  • Review supporting documentation for investor tax reporting and internal tax-related schedules
  • Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of requests and maintenance of control documentation
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of fund legal structures and their impact on cash flows, reporting, and consolidation
  • Assist with the analysis of complex accounting matters and the application of relevant guidance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting efficiency and controls
  • Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives as business needs arise
What You Bring
  • A university degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
  • A professional accounting designation
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting roles
  • Prior exposure to investment management, private funds, or complex ownership structures is an asset
  • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced spreadsheet and financial systems capabilities
  • A collaborative mindset, paired with intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to professional development
