 An established investment and asset management organization is seeking a Manager, Finance to join its team. This role offers broad exposure across finance, operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives within a complex investment environment. About the Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communications across a portfolio of investment entities. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting and finance expertise with leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
 
What You'll Do
  • Oversee fund and investment operations, including financial reporting, stakeholder communications, and coordination with external service providers
  • Support treasury activities, liquidity management, and capital-related transactions
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial and operational performance reports for leadership and key stakeholders
  • Lead initiatives to enhance reporting processes, data management, and operational efficiency
  • Develop expertise in areas such as fund administration, valuations, performance measurement, and investor reporting
  • Support annual valuation processes, including financial model reviews, assumption analysis, and executive-level presentations
  • Coordinate and manage annual audit activities, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure financial records, reporting processes, and governance practices comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
  • Prepare financial analyses and business insights to support strategic planning, forecasting, and decision-making
  • Assist with fundraising activities and the preparation of materials for prospective investors
  • Mentor, develop, and provide guidance to junior finance team members
  • Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc analyses as required

What You Bring

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or investment finance
  • Strong financial systems knowledge and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring or managing junior team members
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across various functions
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process optimization and operational efficiency
