 We're recruiting a Finance Manager for an opportunity that combines technical accounting expertise with financial planning, reporting, and strategic business partnership. This role is well suited to a finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, interpreting complex accounting matters, and providing meaningful financial insights that support business performance.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play an integral role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, process improvement, and strengthening the overall finance function.

 

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other management reporting packages.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Research and interpret accounting standards, providing guidance on their application across the organization.
  • Monitor changes to accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting and accounting policies.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, including variance analysis and business performance reporting.
  • Prepare financial analyses and presentations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that support operational and financial objectives.
  • Coordinate external audit activities and act as a key contact for external auditors and other professional advisors.
  • Evaluate and enhance financial reporting processes, systems, and internal controls, identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Support special projects and other finance initiatives as required.
 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation.
  • Several years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, or a related finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles.
  • Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working with financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
