About the Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position plays a key role in financial reporting, consolidation, and operational finance. The role is highly visible and involves regular interaction with senior stakeholders across multiple business units. You’ll contribute to both external and internal reporting, while supporting broader finance initiatives including compliance, forecasting, and process improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and related disclosures on a quarterly and annual basis
- Analyze and resolve complex technical accounting matters, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements
- Deliver financial insights, reporting, and analysis to senior leadership to support decision-making
- Produce materials for executive and board-level reporting
- Partner with internal and external auditors to support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and compliance requirements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tracking financial performance across multiple entities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal teams to support ongoing initiatives
- Mentor and support the development of junior team members
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and systems efficiency
- Contribute to special projects, including transaction support, due diligence, and ad hoc financial analysis
What You Bring
- University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or audit
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems
- Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience mentoring or managing team members
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement
