A well-established real estate organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its asset management team. This role offers strong exposure to senior leadership, hands-on portfolio analysis, and the opportunity to contribute to value creation initiatives across a diversified portfolio of commercial assets.

About the Role Reporting to senior leadership within asset management, this position will support the oversight and performance of a portfolio of income-producing properties. The role blends financial analysis, valuation work, and operational support, with frequent collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the execution of asset-level strategies focused on improving performance through leasing, operations, and capital initiatives
  • Prepare recurring financial reports and analysis to monitor property performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Assess leasing opportunities through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and market insights
  • Assist in periodic valuation processes by compiling data, reviewing assumptions, and contributing to asset valuations
  • Build, update, and maintain ARGUS models to support valuation and performance tracking
  • Contribute to the development of annual operating and capital budgets
  • Monitor capital projects to ensure timelines, costs, and quality standards are met
  • Prepare property-level reporting packages, including key performance metrics and market commentary
  • Review leases and other property-related agreements to support asset strategy and compliance
  • Participate in stakeholder interactions, including site visits and meetings with external partners
  • Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as needed

What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline such as business, finance, or real estate
  • 2–3 years of experience in asset management, valuations, investment analysis, or a related field
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including experience with discounted cash flow methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with ARGUS is required
  • Proficiency with standard business tools and data analysis platforms
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support portfolio oversight
