Reporting to a senior leader within the corporate tax function, this role will play a key part in delivering group-wide tax compliance, planning, and risk management initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead tax matters related to corporate holding structures across multiple jurisdictions, covering direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and international tax considerations
- Manage relationships with external tax authorities, advisors, and internal business partners across finance, treasury, legal, and governance functions
- Support and oversee tax compliance and reporting obligations, including monitoring legislative changes and assessing their impact
- Provide guidance on tax risk management, including improving tax processes, documentation, and internal controls
- Research and evaluate complex tax issues, preparing clear position papers and recommendations for senior leadership
- Support tax structuring for strategic transactions, joint ventures, and internal reorganizations
- Play a lead role in international tax planning initiatives, including intercompany financing and cash repatriation strategies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of global tax policy initiatives, including emerging international minimum tax and transparency requirements
- Mentor and support regional or site-based tax resources, building capability across the broader organization
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, law, economics, or a related discipline
- Professional designation in accounting or tax (or equivalent professional qualification)
- Approximately 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate or international tax, gained in industry and/or professional services
- Strong technical foundation in at least one major tax jurisdiction, with a solid understanding of international tax principles
- Demonstrated experience with tax structuring, cross-border financing, and complex international tax matters
- Experience interacting with tax authorities and managing audits, disputes, or controversy
- Ability to translate technical tax issues into practical guidance for non-tax stakeholders
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in capital-intensive or asset-heavy industries is an asset, but not required
- Additional language skills are considered an advantage
