About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position is responsible for overseeing product costing, supporting financial reporting processes, and managing various internal and external audit requirements. The role plays a key part in delivering accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with leadership, operational teams, and external auditors to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement of processes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the monthly review of product costing and assess variances, adjustments, and margin impacts
- Coordinate and manage required audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of supporting materials
- Oversee recurring payment processes and sales invoicing activities
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliation reviews and accrual analysis
- Develop financial dashboards and key performance indicators for executive leadership
- Conduct market and competitor financial analysis to support strategic planning
- Assist with budgeting, cash management, and treasury-related initiatives
- Monitor and manage internal authorization and order tracking systems, including variance analysis
- Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
- Provide guidance and oversight to a small team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
What You Bring
- Professional accounting designation
- At least 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Advanced proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools
- Ability to prioritize effectively and interpret business needs proactively
- Experience leading or mentoring junior team members
- Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and external stakeholders
