- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reporting packages, including financial statements prepared under applicable accounting standards
- Review fund reporting, performance metrics, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage capital activities, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and stakeholder reporting
- Present financial analyses and significant transactions to senior leadership
- Partner with internal teams and external service providers to support timely and accurate reporting
- Support tax reporting, audit activities, and compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements
- Analyze complex accounting matters and recommend appropriate accounting treatments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing reporting processes, controls, and operational workflows
- Leverage emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and support data-driven decision-making
- Participate in special projects, business initiatives, and ad hoc financial analyses
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- CPA designation is required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or investment reporting
- Experience within investment management, private funds, asset management, or financial services is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, and complex legal or ownership structures
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting or ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead initiatives, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve workflows is considered an asset
