About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager of Finance will oversee day-to-day financial operations, manage core accounting processes, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership and take ownership of the finance function, helping ensure stability and scalability as the organization grows.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including month-end close and financial reporting
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key performance indicators
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support growth initiatives
- Lead variance analysis and partner with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial processes
- Support audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Prepare and file required tax submissions and liaise with external parties as needed
- Manage and support an accounting clerk responsible for AP/AR and payroll-related activities
- Perform regular reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit facilities, and inventory
- CPA designation is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Experience in a high-growth, product-driven environment or public accounting
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and general accounting standards
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working within ERP systems
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with senior leadership
