A growing global technology organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. About the Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Senior Accountant will support financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and operational accounting processes across multiple business units. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting while contributing to process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including the preparation and review of financial reporting deliverables
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial records
- Assist with the review and consolidation of financial information from multiple business units
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across various entities
- Collaborate with finance teams to improve reporting quality, operational efficiency, and financial processes
- Support technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including process automation and system optimization projects
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
- Contribute to special projects, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives as required
What You Bring
- CPA designation is preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate financial reporting principles
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and intercompany transactions
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience working within technology, software, SaaS, or other fast-growing organizations is considered an asset
- Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting platforms is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Additional language skills, particularly Spanish or Portuguese, are considered an asset
