A leading private investment and wealth-focused organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. What You'll Do
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documentation
- Participate in the preparation of audit working papers and support external audit requirements
- Analyze financial information and provide insights to support business decision-making
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and the enhancement of internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various accounting and finance projects
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from leadership
What You Bring
- CPA designation or active pursuit of the CPA program, including candidates who have successfully completed the CFE
- 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience within public practice, private investment environments, wealth management, family office, asset management, or a related industry
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting and financial systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization
- A proactive mindset and desire to take ownership of responsibilities while continuing to develop professionally
