About the Role:
Reporting into a Senior Finance Leader, this position serves as the finance lead for multiple internal service groups. The role is responsible for month-end close, variance analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting support, forecasting, and intercompany processes, ensuring accurate, timely insights for operational and leadership teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a primary finance partner for internal corporate service teams.
- Lead and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and cost centre reporting.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary comparing actuals to budget and forecast.
- Present financial results and insights to internal business groups.
- Support monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting cycle for both operating and capital planning.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs, highlighting trends and month-over-month changes.
- Support the biannual cost-allocation model process.
- Prepare intercompany billings and complete month-end intercompany journal entries.
- Respond to senior management requests and support ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
What You Bring:
- 3–4 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
- Strong financial systems capabilities, including advanced Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, proactive work style with a strong sense of ownership.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
