About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Controller will oversee all accounting, financial reporting, treasury, compliance, and internal control activities across the organization. This role will serve as a key business partner to operational leaders while leading and developing a finance team in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the overall accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and key performance metrics for senior leadership
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures to support compliance and operational effectiveness
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning initiatives
- Manage treasury activities, including liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, debt management, and financial risk monitoring
- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial analysis, business insights, and recommendations that support decision-making
- Coordinate external audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements
- Lead financial systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Oversee inventory accounting, product costing, capital asset management, and working capital controls
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture
- Support special projects, acquisitions, integrations, and strategic initiatives as required
What You Bring
- CPA designation preferred (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA)
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Strong experience leading finance teams within manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environments
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and internal controls
- Experience with inventory accounting, product costing, and operational finance is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and advanced Excel capabilities
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive process improvements
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a fast-paced environment
