Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, who will also act as a mentor. Collaboration with analysts from other subsidiaries within the organization is expected, fostering a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with subsidiary companies during quarterly and annual financial close processes.
- Collaborating with the Head Office to present consolidated forecasts and ensure financial accuracy.
- Conducting analytical reviews of subsidiary performance and reporting consolidated results.
- Managing intercompany accounting and supporting business combination accounting activities.
- Assisting with various ad hoc projects aimed at driving growth and efficiency.
- Providing support for complex accounting tasks, including acquisition accounting and revenue recognition.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a professional accounting designation (CPA).
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting policies and practices, particularly under IFRS.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated capacity to grasp complex business and accounting dynamics with minimal guidance.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, subject to government mandates.
