This role is ideal for a CPA-designated accounting professional with strong IFRS knowledge, consolidation experience, and the ability to manage reporting deadlines in a public company environment.
About the Role
Reporting to finance leadership, this position will support financial reporting, monthly and quarterly close, consolidations, legal entity accounting, and technical accounting projects. The role offers strong exposure to cross-functional teams, global stakeholders, and ongoing finance transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring reporting deadlines are met
- Prepare and review consolidation work across multiple entities
- Assist with financial reporting deliverables in a public company environment
- Support legal entity accounting and related reporting requirements
- Research and interpret IFRS standards for technical accounting matters
- Assist with accounting policy implementation and finance projects
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and global teams on reporting requirements
- Support process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives
- Work with accounting and reporting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
What You Bring
- CPA designation required
- Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge
- Consolidation experience required
- Experience from public accounting, public company reporting, or industry accounting
- Strong ability to manage tight deadlines, especially during month-end and quarter-end close
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working across multiple departments
- Strong systems aptitude and ability to work with reporting tools
- Real estate, investment, or public company experience is considered an asset
- Experience with legal entities, multi-currency accounting, or reporting automation tools is an asset
