A leading enterprise organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a newly formed finance team. This is a growth-oriented role, ideal for a candidate with strong technical accounting expertise who wants to help establish processes, build a team, and influence the evolution of a rapidly expanding business area.
  
About the Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will lead the development of a new finance function, providing technical guidance, building governance frameworks, and supporting the organization’s financial close and reporting processes. This position offers an opportunity to shape how the team operates, implement process improvements, and influence the strategic direction of the finance function.
  
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage a finance team, overseeing day-to-day accounting and reporting responsibilities
  • Support and guide the financial close process, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely results
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operations, analyze financial results, and provide actionable insights
  • Maintain and implement robust internal controls and governance frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, leveraging technology and automation (including AI-driven solutions) to enhance efficiency
  • Review complex transactions, accounting policies, and contracts to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Lead special projects and change initiatives within the finance function
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, providing coaching, mentoring, and development for direct reports
  
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation is required
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with public accounting exposure
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including familiarity with complex transactions and reporting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and experience with ERP or financial systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding teams through change and fostering development
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with composure under pressure
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-evolving environment, building processes from the ground up, and leading through ambiguity
