A leading organization is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join its team. About the Role
Reporting into senior leadership, this position is responsible for overseeing operational support across the full lifecycle of private investments. You’ll partner with teams across the organization to ensure transactions are processed accurately, reporting is reliable, and operational processes continue to evolve alongside business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and review reconciliations across various data points, identifying and resolving inconsistencies
- Coordinate settlement activities and oversee key stages of the investment lifecycle
- Support capital movements, including funding requirements and distribution processing
- Work with third-party providers to facilitate administrative and operational workflows
- Assist in preparing data for internal and external reporting requirements
- Contribute to the setup and integration of new investments, including documentation review
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance workflows and drive process efficiencies
- Track portfolio changes and ensure systems reflect accurate and up-to-date information
- Handle information requests and produce custom reporting as needed
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving controls, documentation, and overall operations
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in investment operations, middle office, or a related function
- Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA, or similar) is an asset
- Familiarity with operational processes supporting complex or non-traditional investments
- Experience with transaction processing, reconciliations, and data validation
- Strong problem-solving ability with a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic setting
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across different teams
- Self-starter who takes ownership of work and contributes to team success
- Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality
