A leading organization in the real estate sector is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to join its finance team. About the Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for overseeing corporate financial reporting, managing a high-performing accounting team, and ensuring the integrity of financial information across multiple business units. The role combines technical accounting expertise with operational oversight and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a corporate accounting team, overseeing day-to-day performance and deliverables
  • Act as a subject matter expert on complex accounting matters, including financial reporting, audit requirements, and transaction analysis
  • Prepare and review consolidated and standalone financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
  • Manage external audits and coordinate reporting requirements with lenders, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure alignment across financial operations and portfolio performance
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal controls, including working closely with internal audit functions to address findings
  • Oversee treasury activities, including banking relationships, cash flow management, and liquidity planning in partnership with senior leadership
  • Ensure accounting systems and supporting technologies effectively meet business needs, including coordination of system enhancements or implementations
  • Contribute to operational initiatives and provide financial insight to support strategic decision-making

What You Bring
  • CPA designation and a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience, including a mix of public accounting and industry financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidations, and multi-entity or multi-currency environments
  • Experience with internal controls, audits, and regulatory reporting frameworks
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and working with senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights
