A growing investment management firm is seeking a Senior Operations Associate to join its team. This role offers close exposure to senior leadership, meaningful responsibility across investment operations, and the opportunity to build scalable, well-controlled processes in a complex, multi-entity environment. The position is well suited for a technically capable, detail-oriented professional who enjoys improving systems, strengthening controls, and bringing structure to data-driven operations.

About the Role:
Reporting to a senior investment leader, the Senior Operations Associate plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the firm's investment operations framework. The role combines operational oversight, reporting review, control design, and workflow optimization. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, this individual will help ensure data integrity, consistency, and operational resilience as the organization continues to evolve.

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day investment operations activities across internal teams and external service providers.
  • Review periodic investment reports and performance materials, validating accuracy against underlying portfolio activity and internal records.
  • Establish and maintain review processes, reconciliations, and control checkpoints to identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or exceptions.
  • Design analytical reviews and monitoring tools that improve transparency into data quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership, vendors, and operational stakeholders on workflow improvements and system enhancements.
  • Support internal and external reviews by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring operational readiness.
  • Evaluate existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and redesign processes to improve scalability, reliability, and automation.
  • Develop internal tools, templates, and automated workflows to reduce manual effort and streamline data movement across platforms.
  • Document procedures, controls, and operating practices to support knowledge transfer and long-term scalability.
  • Partner with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives that enhance reporting integrity, operational efficiency, and overall investment infrastructure.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, finance, accounting, or data-oriented financial roles.
  • Solid understanding of investment products across public markets, private investments, and alternative asset classes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or implement automations, integrations, or data workflows using scripting, databases, or low/no-code tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems.
  • Experience designing, documenting, and maintaining operational workflows, controls, and reconciliation logic.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently scope, test, and deliver process improvements.
  • High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Clear communicator who can translate technical concepts into operational context.
  • Proactive, dependable, and comfortable owning responsibilities end-to-end.
Why Join:
This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role within a collaborative, high-performing investment environment where operational excellence is essential. You'll work closely with senior decision-makers, gain exposure across investment activities, and contribute to building the systems and processes that support long-term growth. The role offers meaningful impact, intellectual challenge, and room to grow alongside the organization.
